Will this Deore M5100 11-Speed cassette work with a Shimano xt 11 speed mech?

Previously I had a suntour 11 speed 11-50 cassette with was mostly fine. I could never get the shifting quite perfect.
It's currently got an xt 11-46 and it time to change
ive had one on my medium cage 11 speed xt mech absolutely fine
in fact, i had both of those cassettes mentioned...i guess you mean sunrace
I use that big 11spd Deore cassette with 11spd XT mech with no issues. Have done for a few years. I think you will find the shifting much better than on the sun tour cassette. Certainly I find it leaps better than anything 12spd (GX of XT)! Its sublime.
Same setup here on one of my bikes.
Probably the best shifting and least finicky setup I've got.

just remember, the shimano 12 speed rear mechs work very well with 11 speed shifter/cassettes. They also have the better range and work with 50t cassettes no problem.
