Ive just sat down to my desk at work this morning, opened my email inbox and read an email from my little brother who is spending a summer season in Whistler after doing a winter one.

He just wanted to let me know he had just got his Bike park pass and how awesome it is......

.....at least its not raining in Lancashire today........yet.

What's the point of your post? Is that you mean you jealousy with your brother?

No chance of you ever doing the same, even if it means sacking work? Mostly just comes down to choices and priorities.

That's not jealousy, that's envy.

You can only be jealous about something you already have.

That's my pedantry for today.

I'm sure jealousy and envy are the same thing, google thinks they are!

I thought it was just a light hearted joke about how I'd rather be biking in BC than at work, surely that appeals to most on here!?

Too right about the black pudding though binners, that and Darwen Moor!

I know how you feel. Two weeks ago my brother jacked in his job and headed out to Morzine for the entire summer. Jammy git.

Currently scheming to see if I can't get at least a long weekend away from the family to go out and see him (with a bike, obviously).
