Need to get new bearings, fit new chainstays, headset etc etc on my Occam.
Simon ( understandably) wouldn't touch it last time, and pedalscycles Embra is a long way away.
Any recommendation?
Sounds like the sort of thing any decent bike shop could do, why do you need an orbea dealer?
I think Sett Valley cycles in New Mills is an Orbea dealer..
might be worth a try.
Got my rallon pivots done at ride on in Rawtenstall
On a related note, would you be happy if you went to lbs fir a wheel fix and they straightened a j spoke to use as a straight pull spoke on the fix?
@julians, unfortunately not, as i wouldnt want a hammer or drill going at the non drive side rear axle bearing without it being backed up with warranty by an authorised dealer.
crappy design, and my rear axle has started creaking again :0(
in answer to the @thegeneralist cyclegear halifax sorted mine out.. they were decent.

Emergency wheel fix when you're halfway down the Tour Divide, maybe!
Biketreks in the lakes are good. Not too far away.

They are - excellent mechanic as well.
It's about 15 miles SE of Manchester but easy to get the train out there. You will need to book it in though, I know the workshop gets quite busy at times.
