Right then, I have decided to get myself a road bike. I'm not going to be a super keen racer, more of a daily commute/ fitness rider with a few club rides locally. A mile muncher if anything.

I'm attracted by the steel frame (456 rider) and the mudguards seem like a great addition especially seeing as the weather in Cornwall has its own mind.
Should I take the plunge or am I missing out on some good deals?
