not today mate... Ps, I dont know if you have ridden it, but where we went through the gate last time right at the dstart, if you go through the one on your right instead. Then look out for some ( i think the 1st bit) singletrack on the right hand side.

It's good fun.

Nice one.
Good to ride with some new faces.
Shame some of the riders out today couldn't leave their egos at home. Still I'm gonna keep smiling ๐Ÿ˜€

The level of ignorance and misery on the trails is hilarious. I once said hello to each and every rider as they passed in large group but none of them saw fit to utter any sort of response to my greeting. Nowadays if meself and the folk I ride with encounter the sad faced, we just up the volume and cheerily shout hello in unison whilst beaming in exagerrated fashion from ear to ear. Smile plus acknowledgement costs nowt.

Mtnbikers in the south east tend to wear miserable faces. Maybe that's more to do with the south east than mountain biking.

Ha, roadies are the worse though... I think I'm either smiling, chatting, or frowning with concentration when i'm riding. Oh, that or grimacing from the pain of riding up hill...

oldgit missed you today. I bimbled round with my daughter and I think got muddier in the Sandy Lane car park than riding round the woods

LOL. Roadies that have got fed up with being knocked off their bikes by cars ain't it ๐Ÿ™„

As long as you don't go on a Sunday when you can't move for walkers, I always get a bit of chat or banter off walkers up there when I go. You always get the odd one that looks at you as if you're an alien, but mostly they appreciate that you're out having fun, getting exercise too. If you're coming mate, don't forget to gimme a shout... I'm only about 10 miles away...
