Toying with the idea of entering. Anyone done it and can give an idea of what to expect? (I know it's 600km, 9000m climbing, C2C2C).
It'd be the biggest ride I've done; I've done the NYM300 before, Dirty Reiver a couple of times, a charity road ride Leeds - Scotland & back in a day (400km), and have a place on 'The Land Between' (500km gravel event) in August.
So, I'd be biting off a sizeable amount more than I'd usually chew ...
400km in a Day! Wow!
Was that a day of 24h of pedaling?
I've never had a stab because it comes a bit early in the year for me. But I think if you can manage 400k of pedalling in one sitting then you should be fine to finish in the three days.
Weather and trail conditions at Easter are the major variables.

I think it took us 18.5 hours start to finish.

Me too, equal amounts excited and terrified. You're Leeds based too aren't you (based on your pics from the WRPT threads)?
The DD looks like a great route

Yup. I'll drop you a PM, we can compare notes, tyre choices, and do some training rides!
