Planning to head over this weekend, assuming the weather isn't awful.

Has anyone been recently? If so, what were the routes (and roots) like under your wheels?

I saw they closed the forest when the wind was really bad a few weeks ago, but assuming it is now back to normal.

Cheers

Did it at Xmas - similarly wet/rainy in the air, although no Yorkshire flooding like there is now.

Did the red and black. The bottom bit of the black had some mud and puddles, and i took the chicken line down the drop/roll off at the start of the black.

Cant really recall any puddles or bogs on the red trail.

Think I finished it less dirty than at Leeds urban the day prior.

It's due to be blowy again this weekend so check before you go.

The waymarked trails mostly drain well except the top of the climb on the red but will be like grinding paste, expect to need new brake pads when you're done.

Black was closed last Saturday when I was there and I think some some of the red are closed this weekend for maintenance, not muddy on the main red route but lots of big puddles and standing water, some of the off piste trails have been closed by FC some are still open

I was pretty impressed at that feature, no ****ing way would I ride it on an xc bike with a saddle up my arse! Can't imagine us being allowed to build it on a black route either.

Cheers for the updates, I will follow them on facebook to see if they close due to the weather.

Also need to head over to leeds urban bike park, but I might wait until the weather improves!

I was at LUBP earlier in the week for a couple of hours with the kids. Didn't do any of the woodland trails as I was on the jump bike but everything else was absolutely fine - the odd puddle but remarkably dry.
