I have full mudguards on my bike, and my forks have a hole right through the crown for the top bracket bolt to go through. I've just got some new forks, and there's only a (pretty small) hole at the back.
How do you tighten the bolt up?
The new forks do have mudguard eyelets BTW.

Is the small hole threaded? If so just whack an appropriately sized bolt straight in and tighten it up, no need for nuts or anything. The fittings on my commuter are like this.
If not, you should be able to put a nut inside the steerer and fit it like that. Either way you'll almost certainly need a different nut and bolt from the one you currently have.

Ah, it is threaded. Knew it was a stupid question!
