Going to buy my roadie mate a sub for his Christmas.

Which one is better - especially for road racing news, stories and features? (He's not a Cycling Plus kind of guy.)

Pro-Cycling, much better magazine IMO.

I'd say neither, both are the road cycling equivalent of 'Hello'

Cycle Sport is a bit more'glossy' with good photos and interviews. Less serious than other cycling mags Single Track being the exception 😀

I read & enjoy both... if I had to choose though I'd go for Pro Cycling.

"In this months hot issue;
How misunderstood Lance is the worlds No1 nice guy!
(with pics showing him cuddling fluffy kittens)
We look around Vino's beautiful villa!
(not in the medicine cabinet though)
George Hincapie cofides about his battle with 'the blood parasites' and an exclusive look at his new fashion range!
Plus; A semi-literate ex pro tries to put words in the right order regarding whichever bike our advertiser have sent us!*"
.
.
* to be fair Boardman was both literate and quite insightful in his tests

I prefer Procycling (I've asked for a subscription), but Cycle Sport is OK. Plus Procycling has the Plastic Peleton People.
