So seriously considering replacing my last CX bike and wonder if anyone has seen and good deals out there. Currently seen a Genesis CDA 20 for £600 that's tempting.

As above, I might end up buying a CX Team for ~£650 (BC discount and discounted vouchers), subject to what my lower back makes of tomorrow's test ride.
The bike looks pretty good, the only thing I'm not sure about and would like to resolve with a positive answer is tyre clearance for 38c tyres, it looks very close either way (especially at the rear).
The Pinnacle Arkose X 2017 has acres of room for 45c tyres, but even with a banger trade-in and discounted vouchers, it would be something like ~£750, down from £900.

How did you manage to get a test ride? Or is it round the shop floor only? Halfords staff aren't allowed to offer test rides on bikes.
They are putting a large on the display turbo trainer for me to hammer for ~45mins.
