Thinking of heading up to Cwm Carn for the Wednesday night ride but heard conditions were not good as of Saturday. A mate says there was lots of ice still down and a slush making it heavy going. Has it got better since then ? If not its a thrash round the local woods.
Not a great update from what you already know but a couple of mates were there on Sunday and said basically it was largely a push up and a treachorous ride / push down.
Was planning on going tomorrow but I guess things will not have improved greatly.
Would be happy for someone to tell me I'm wrong 🙂
rode around there this morning no problem but i did avoid the track that runs along side the stream as those roots are slippery in this weather and climbed up on the road.

i done it a few hours ago . its rideable abit of ice down in the section between the 2 bridges but better than it was sat. ive heard theres more snow due tomorrow

Just got back. It's fine.
Theres a little ice on the fire road climb but nothing to worry about.
All sections including freeride OK.
