[Closed] Cutting carbon bars

Nice sharp junior hacksaw, measure twice cut straight once! Depends on bars but some carbon bars have an alu insert in the ends to prevent crushing with bar ends fitted you obviously wouldn't want to remove all of that! Anyway i cut a good 4cm off mine each side no probs at all.

its better to use a high TPI (teeth per inch) blade apparently.
i used a dremel cutting disk which worked well on my EC70's.

Carbon dust is evil so make sure you have a mask .

if you need to cut them shorter than the anti crush insert ,get some cut down wine cork and pop that in the hole 🙂

Cheers, no alu insert so should be straightforward.
