I've a Fox Evolution RL on my 5 that is due a service and I'm wondering if there is anything can be done to improve it at the same time. After adding some volume spacers, the only issue I still have with it is that it can be a bit unpredictable coming off the lips of jumps without any pop. Turning down the rebound damping just makes the bike horribly unbalanced.
If I was being picky I'd also say the lockout strength is not enough for my weight and the shock is still pretty active with it switched on.
Is there much than TF, loco, mojo etc could do to improve things or should I bite the bullet and replace the shock?
Surely you could get it push tuned
can't get the evolution shock pushed - there is not much they can do with that shock as it has a pretty basic (read poor) damping set up.
I'd replace the shock
