would a 26 not do and adjust the rear sprocket size? I have a 26 here I think. You can get loads of rear sprocket sizes. 15 - 22 tooth IIRC

running a 22t on the alfine..also have a 20t...just thinking of running a 8speed chain with 2 splits with sram quicklinks and be able to drop down to the granny ring if needed...ie for a day on the cheviots and the Strathpufffer...gulp ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

I have a 26 then you can have. Just checked. 26: 22 will be very silly gearing.

agree 26:22 will be awfy low...ideal for riding up walls ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
will have to look at a smaller rear sprocket aswell which kinda rules out using a split chain/ 2 front ring option...Mmmm bikes eh? ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
