Currently using a Cube road bile to commute to work it’s been fine but it’s a basic spec. Thinking about buying a new Cube ebike for off road use at weekends.
How do you rate Cube for mountain bikes? Any good or not. What’s quality like compared to Specialized, Whyte Scott It will be my first ebike
Thanks

I also have  Cube road bike. I've had it for 12 years. It's still on its original PF BB.

I bought a Cube fatbike in a CRC sale last year. It was so cheap, I paid less than the (discounted) price of all the components, thinking I'd use it as a donor to build onto a Ti fatbike frame. I'm still using the Cube.

I've sold Cube in two bike shops in the past. I'd certainly have no qualms about buying anything in the range.

I used to work as a bike mechanic for a dealer selling Cube and Specialized. You get far better value for money with Cube. I also built lots of Cube ebikes - they were solid, dependable and we had fewer problems that with some of the Specialized. Bosch drive system is dependable plus good support. The only issue with Cubes is the through-axle gear hanger is a bit flimsy/bends easily but spares are no problem.
