[Closed] Cube Ltd Race, Specialized Rockhopper SL Comp, GT Avalanche 1.0 for trails?

my friend is thinking of getting one of these bikes for trails riding.
the cube is about £900, the specialized is 680 and the gt is 630. i said not the specialized but is it worth the extra for the cube? i think so but it's not my money so i don't want to push him.

Sorry, you don't expect someone to agree to one of your choices do you? The Specializeds look terrible this year in my opinion although I'm sure there's nothing wrong with them, the Cube is great value for money but the frame's not awesome and more of a euro type position. GT I don't know.

For me, I think the new Mondraker trail bikes (I think there's one around £600?) or Whyte 805 in particular is the choice - nice, pretty slack head angle and UK designed can make a difference. I like a lot and it's £899.

IMO i would go for the cube, it is better specced.
