I've bought a pair of Crossmax SX's and need to convert the front axle to 15mm, does anyone know if the axle of the latest SX's will fit as this can be converted 3 ways (20mm, 15mm, 9mm QR) where as the older one was only 20mm or 9mm QR. I spoke to a guy at Mavic UK and he said although the hubs looked the same he was not sure so could not confirm. I figure they will have just redesigned the axle and left the hub the same.
If anyone has any idea if the axle can just be swapped or if the hubs are identical it would be much appreciated.
I've also seen a company called Risse Racing do a conversion axle but its from the US, I'd rather buy Mavic if possible, unless I can get the Risse in the UK somewhere but I can't find it anywhere.

I've converted my 2009 (I think) Crossmax SX to 15mm with the Risse Racing axle. Was very easy & importing the axle was no problem.
