I was thinking of doing this over the weekend.
Has anyone done the Slaidburn - Cross Fell - Wray - back by road via Lythe Fell - Slaidburn circular route ?
Do you know how much climbing for the full route?
thanx

Why go back by road? Just ride it as an out-and-back. It feels different when returning IMHO. Nice wilderness feel about it when you're on the tops but not done it for a while as I find it fairly uninspiring overall.

Cheers for that Ecky
I was thinking of just doing it for fitness. I normally hate linear routes hence coming back by road
Is it possible to come back another circular way on a bridleway ?

Not that I know of. Most of the moorland around there is pretty poor underfoot too, so it's not as though there is any practical cheeky return leg either. Sorry.
