I ordered and paid for some lights through their website (£240.00)

http://www.crgmoto.co.uk/

A week has passed and have heard nothing since, Iv'e emailed, I've called, iv'e messaged on facebook, but to no avail.

Registered address on website is

12 East Green, Heighington, County Durham, DL5 6PP

Anyone know if they are still trading and are legit?

Thanks
Colin (slightly worried!)

Sadly, no I don't think so.

My wife got my lights from them for Xmas and getting them was a mission, to say the least. Missed dates, no communication then false promises for 2 months before a package arrived. I then had warranty issues, which they ignored. Fortunately these were resolved very well by ISON who are the new distributors for Gloworm.

Since lights are now distributed by ISON, my advice is to claw back the money asap via PayPal or card and order from your local shop.

Ditto ,as a above not a pleasure dealing with just a challenge . Countless promises took an age to fulfill, steer clear unless you have plenty of patience.

Too late now but avoid at all costs. They used to be brilliant but went awol.

The gloworm lights are amazing though and are available from any bike shop with an ison account.

Thanks for the comments, shame I didn't research before buying.
I even got through to the payment screen and backed out and thought I would call and pay on the phone, then I couldn't be arsed so I went back in and completed the order and payment! -

Lesson learned, trust your first instincts eh!

UPDATE****

After no contact I have started a chargeback through my card issuer and I have now got my money back.

The guy is a thieving prick and I hope his website gets taken down and he has is payment merchant services withdrawn.

AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID at all costs.

Wasn't he quite active on here when it was going well? Wonder what's happened?

He was - the lights were only a very small part of his businesses.
He also came on here and let everyone know who the new distributor was, etc.
Add a lot of personal family stuff going on and he had to take time out.
Not excusing him not switching the website off to stop payments being made - but he has had more urgent priorities
