Back in the day I like abit of whippage, and now whenever I go out and do similar (proper rad dad me) I always get negative feedback from my wheels!

They're bonty Dusters on a Remedy and it seems I get a noise coming from my spokes when I'm riding usually... Nothing loose at all and no snapped spokes.

Does anyone know what causes this and how it could possibly be fixed?

Big love as always lads.

maybe the tension is not very even.

you could slack them off, lightly oil the eyelets and nipples and bring them back up to proper even tension, won't do them any harm either way.

Have you tried a different wheel to confirm its the spokes? I've seen wheels withh creaky spokes, but normally the spokes are so loose it's obvious.

Are the spoke holes ok? A few cracked ones can cause that, as can a loose/ungreased 142mm axle and frame nut.

I had a mystery creak from my trek that did my head in, couldn't work it out. Bonty Rhythm Comp wheels. The axle was slightly out of tolerance and creaked in the hub shell. Worth checking that out.
