... Seatpost?
Finally tracked that noise down to my seatpost. Creaks everytime I sit down. Post is 4/5 year old Easton ea30. Would replace with thomson.
I only weigh 11 stone, I guess I could take clamp Spartans grease but and worried about the clamp bolt failing.
Is it time to replace?

Thomson and a new clamp I say. I snapped a post commuting and I was only 10.5 stone then.

clean out inside the frame with a rag and some parafin/petrol, give the seatpost a good clean, clean the saddle rails, clamp, bolts, nuts etc.
The replace it if the creek stil doesn't go.
