So looking at crc website a couple of the 29er forks are advertised as 1.5" steerer. Not 1 1/8 and not 1.5" taper? Do they mean tapered or is this a typo and does crc mean 1 1/8? The pics don't look like 1.5"
Surely xc forks are tapered or 1 1/8?
I thought 1,5" were only big gravity/downhill forks
Thoughts?
If its the revalations then the ones I got are tapered
Do you have a link?
I don't think anyone makes a 29er fork with a 1.5" steerer.
What fork is it?
That's what I thought
Rockshox recon gold 29ers in the price drop sale hence my interest... Seriously cheap
These...

Guess they must be...does say 1.5" in the description as well. Might be worth contacting to check, could be typo, difficult to judge from pics. 80mm travel, 9mm QR, 1.5" steerer 29er forks...pretty damn niche 😯
Maybe they are left over OEM? Found this via google: http://www.infinitecycles.com/bikes/mountain-bikes-2013/2013-trail-sl-29/
RM66 hub suggests a QR.
CRC list a couple of the other Recon 29ers as 1.5 too.
Very odd.
I'd think it was a typo myself.
Stuffs dead easy to return with their free return thingy if they are 1.5.

Forks will be too big for Collect+...60cm x 30cm x 30cm
Some cannondales might come OEM with 1.5" steerers?

bloke at my local newsagents accepted a pair of Revalations to go back to CRC on Tuesday.
Bugger...just spent £20 sending a set of Sektors back by PF 👿
I was prepared to be sent away with a flea in my ear but he didn't bat an eyelid.
It's probably down to each store/member of staff how closely they monitor it.
I asked 1.5" straight or taper...
I've just had a mail back from CRC saying 1.5"... I assume they mean straight but still not explicit!

that or they are still sat in the corner of the shop
I noticed these too and after phoning to check, they say defo 1.5 steerer.
that or they are still sat in the corner of the shop
possibly, but I have a receipt from the shop so I'll get my money back from CRC either way.
"Some cannondales might come OEM with 1.5" steerers? "
+1. Rize120 full suss does/did, at least the one the mag had in a couple of yeas back? 1.5" steerer/stem but QR dropouts
1.5 means 1.5 that's probably why they are cheap...
Hope they are 1.5 straight as I've ordered one for my Cannondale SS - 1.5 headtube
Google their number and ask them. I did this over some Hope hoops recently as Front pic showed std. Flow and rear pic showed Flow EX rim. The guy was very helpful and said both were EX Flows which they were when they came. They had just forgot to update a pic.
