Just orderered some new bar tape as I didn't want to use my spare bar tape as then i wouldnt have any spare bar tape.
It's not just bar tape though, it's all my "spares"
Im sure I'm just a bit crazy, Is it just me or do others do this?

Seems OK to me. I always have spare pads, cables, chains etc ready to fit in case I suddenly need them.

Crazy, unless you make the new parts spares and use the spares to avoid ending up with old useless spares.

so do I Mr routes but bar tape seems excessive its not exactly a consumable that may fail at any moment
Not something i keep as a spare tbh
