ok so ive still got a 26 er (I'm living the retro dream) and it all xt kit except for my crank. as its a 2014 model cannondale it still has 3 rings up front. anyways I'm after a new xt hollowtech crank and was wondering what size if indeed there are different sizes I should get ?
I'm looking to go to 2 rings up front and have been told my 9sp hg chain would be fine (its only a month old so not changing it) is there a specific bottom bracket I need for the xt cranks ? ive heard different splines etc mentioned and am all a bit confused............

Bottom bracket will depend on your frame and the cranks, it's got to suit both.

If you have a Cannondale crak, thee's a good chance you have a more unusual bottom bracket - what bike is it?
