I've only ever used Easton carbon bars and never had a problem. I'm after some wide flat bars and have come across some very pretty Crank Brothers ones, which have the perfect length and sweep and are seemingly very light. Before I buy them, has anyone actually broken any?

Crank Bros are usually fine as long as there's no moving parts. But I'd be wary of the cheap ones on ebay tbh...

These are on CRC. My theory is that nothing can drop off handlebars, surely?

Mine have been fine, but then I haven't had any problems with the CB stuff I've owned.
