[Closed] cut down carbon bars?

I cut my (previously) 800mm wide Easton Havoc Carbon 35mm bars down to 750mm the other day. All went fine. I used a lock on grip clamp as a guide and then filed it after.

The strength isn't affected. You're only cutting the end of, which is then covered by a lock on grip.

Don't breathe the dust though

Some have reinforced ends, check before cutting.

Do it somewhere ventilated, wet the saw.

I wont tell him that ha ha. hes better than me so ill b able to keep up with him if it disables him. thanks for the advice
