I have just bought a Coros Dura GPS device for tracking my bike rides but cannot link to my Shimano ebike (Orbea Rise 2024 with a EN600-L remote).

Anyone managed to link the Dura to Shimano ?
Currently talking to a customer support but thought I's ask here.

The Dura has spectacular battery life. Mapping is nothing compared to TalkyToaster on my Garmin Edge, but on a par with the Garmin default basemap. User interface is decent. Just need to work out how to share with Strava etc.

AAAGH!

From Coros:

The issue you're experiencing is due to protocol compatibility: the Shimano EN600-L (without display) does not broadcast motor assistance and battery percentage data in a way that COROS DURA can recognize or connect to. While Garmin Edge devices have specific support for Shimano's private ANT+ protocols, COROS DURA currently does not support these protocols required to view e-bike metrics from your EP600 system.

This means it isn't possible at this time to display motor assistance and remaining battery % from your Orbea Rise 2024 on the DURA bike computer. If there are future firmware updates enabling broader e-bike integration, they'll be announced via official COROS channels."

FFS. I only bought it to do this. Not impressed.

I think what they mean is that they didn't include ANT+ in the device and are trying to make it sound like its Shimanos fault.

Weird timing as I was looking at a Coros watch earlier. Checking the specs showed no ANT+ which put me off straight away.

Shame, because it looked good for the money and I'm bored/ fed up with the crappy display on my Edge 530.
