I'm trying to move my brakes inboard so that I've got one finger braking, however as the bike shop has set up the handlebars, the gear controls are inboard of them. Do people swap this around so that the brakes are inboard of the gears? Does this cause any problems?

no we grow extra long fingers or glue lolly sticks on the shifters.

Another potentially disastrous keyboard/beer interface. Cheers, thepodge! 🙄

I don't switch them around, but I do move shifters and brakes in. I like a gap of about 15mm from the end of my grips to my shifters.

Yep. Mine are swapped too. I get much more power through the lever cos I'm pulling the end of it!

The lever that is... 😀
