Any one run their brakes inside their shifters? Dunno if its possible with the optical displays but I think my brake levers are too long or my shifter levers too short

I've just upgraded my v's to discs (2008 Oro K18s) and am using deore shifters from 2000 - is the age gap the issue or am I simply unable to set a bike up properly? i.e. can you all give me an excuse to get some M770s!

I run the brake inside. I use a saint shifter so no window, snap your window off to get 1 finger braking set up perfect. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Got Oro K18 running inboard of XT 770's on mine. Remove the indicators, and cover the hole with the lid which is conveniently provided as part of the shifter.
