[Closed] Conti GP4000 more puncture prone than 4 Seasons?

Sorry, dull question I know!

I recently got rid of a well worn pair of Conti 4 Seasons and replaced them with a new pair of GP4000's.

Never had a single puncture on the 4 Seasons, but had punctures on each of my first 3 rides with the GP4000's

Just unlucky, or is there a significant difference in puncture protection?

Cheers.

Styled on the GP4000 S II, but with extra protection layers for harsh weather conditions

Unlucky. Though there is a lot less protection on the 4000. I run 4000's through winter with no problems (25mm with latex tubes at 85/90 psi.)

Do you always buy tyres at random without researching them first?
