Looking at riding in, need help with "safe" routes where I'm not going to get flattened
such as
Got to get across Bolton from the NE side, thoughts on route?
Getting on to the cycle lane on the A580 from SW Bolton
Off the A580 to the West side of Warrington/ A57/ Bold Heath
GPX routes welcome t_interweb AT outlook D0T com
and and suggestions for different routes for the commute back

Mossbank way - chew moor - Atherton - Leigh - A580 cycle path?
Some decent routes to that area but not very direct though!!

Only ever ridden on early on a Sunday morning, there is a cycle lane painted on it though.....
