Anyone got one ❓
I know sslowpace has one cause his was pictured in the thread a week or so back.
What do you guys recon to them...
Cheers.
I had one on my motolite for 6 months - no problems with it and seemed quite resistant to crud. Not sure it span any more freely than the XTR one it replaced though. Regreasing is easy due to the cool little tool you can get for it too.
I`ve been looking at them from Aspire (where i buy all the rest of my CK stuff from) and they sell a bb and tools for $205 (135)with free shipping.
Really tempted to go with the Middleburn set up as well. Currently on MB/Royce square taper.

don't know if this got resolved? I've been tempted for one myself, but was hoping for some other users views to.
Been using one for a year now. I've regressed 4 times over that time. One bearing went tight but after a regrease it's like new again. I wouldn't think twice about getting another one when the xtrs fail on my other bikes.
Wot Wokboy said but I have not had any bearing issues. Will get them for my other bikes as and when their BBs need replacing.
Is the pace BB avialable yet?
If you are going to buy one, you need to factor in the suitable grease gun tool otherwise it's just an expensive failure waiting to happen.
IMO there are two schools of thought on BBs - eithe you get a super expensive one with a super expensive tool to maintain it and hope to get a few years use or you buy them on a 'run it for six months and replace' basis, paying maybe £20-30 a pop.
Ignore me- just found it on Wiggle.
I've been running one since last Feb & its still going strong (touch wood).

This ones a year old and been fine. Regrease it every now and again and had no problems with it.
i've just installed this one in another bike on the grounds of how well the mango one performed.

My NDS has play after about 6 months.
Apart from the ability to regrease, I don't think its any better than the shimano or Acros ones I've previously tried.
Putting pictures of fruit in the background won't help loose that wok stu, you have to eat the ****in stuff!
Oi Peteimpreza, watch it!
That pace one looks interesting, may consider that next time!
had my CK BB for about months (already outlived my Race Face one) and not had any issues yet. Just got the re-grease tool so will be doing that over the weekend.
What grease do you use stu?
*Goes off to look in garage*
Almost forgot you then Dibbs.
It's Weldtite with teflon.
Thanks stu
Had one for a year, perfectly smooth. Fitted by my LBS with a 5 yr warranty. Take it in every 4 months or so and 2 minutes they flush it through with grease....as soon as my XT one pops on the other bike, King to go in that as well.
Mine was the one linked above that lasted 3 months and the D/S fell to bits.
The importer would not warranty it so it was sent back to King USA but I've still heard nothing back.
I have now owned CK hubs, headsets and BB's, all of which I think are way over-priced and over-rated.
Cheers guys, i recon i`ll be going down this route soon. 😛
