I've heard it's a case of letting air out and then pushing rod from the bottom out of the top of the leg (after undoing some bolts)? Is it that simple?
Thanks

Not quite, 2009 (same year as mine) will require the addition or removal of a spacer (remove to lengthen, add to shorten) and I'm pretty sure you will need to remove the lowers to get at the circlip that holds everything together. Have only ever done it by removing lowers, however it still might be possible to do it the way your saying, I've never tried. If they were mine I'd just remove the lowers and do a lower service at the same time. It's a large internal type circlip you will need to remove and you need to push the backplate in order to release it.
