The bike currently has a fork with a 1.5 inch steerer on it that I'd like to swap for a rigid one. Only I can't find a rigid fork that would be a straight swap. They all have 1 1/8 steerers.
Anyone done this?
What will I need to do? I assume a new headset?
I looked at reducer cups, but the Cannondale headset isn't a perfect 1.5 is it?

Yes you will need a headset that converts 1.5 to whatever the rigid forks are 1 1/8 usually . Cane Creek do one .

My dale trail sl came with a big sticker around the head tube with 1.5 written all over it and a reducer headset in it.
