Apologies if we have covered this.

Firstly as a PSA the bike park is shut from the first of December.

Having read this I did some googling and discovered that running the MTB will be taken over by the Woburn Estate. This is presumably its why they stopped selling season passes.

Any rumours about why the change and how things are expected to change?

theres also big news about the bike park at Rushmere

i think the 2 things are related

Im happy to pay to ride but it works out incredibly expensive to ride there with a family, compared to nearby Northampton Bike Park or the much bigger Swinley, where you pay per car

Excited to see what Matt does with the place, I just hope they keep Transfer Line and make some more progressive jump trails for all abilities as most of the stuff there is too big for me to ride now. Doesn't seem to mention the red trail being shut unless I glossed over that, hope that stays running as it's nice for a couple of laps as a quick loop. Would also like to see annual passes back as £10 for a day pass is too much imo and I suspect why it seems like a lot of people don't bother buying a pass.

There are 2 issues with the current day pass. One it gets expensive. Two it takes an insane amount of time to buy one. I seem to have to enter my details twice.

I think the statement on the Woburn site implied the Red and blue trail remain. My hunch is that they’ll want less digging outside the sanctioned areas. I speculate tor the first time they’ll start to manage Back Wood.

I think the Rushmere jump lines were pretty full on. Maybe the idea is that the big jumps are at Woburn.

It looks like the logical idea of permits covering both areas will never happen note as they are now managed separately
