What is the usual turnaround at Chain Reaction for returned mtb items regarding refunds etc...? Never needed to send anything back upto now.

Varies very much dependant on brand and what the actual issue is. If its a smiple replce, then thats easy, but sometime the manufacturer needs to step in a look/decide.

Have used the 'free' returns service quite a few times it's positively glacial but as soon as the item was returned to CRC they refunded me the same day.
Same for RM if you can't wait. The item gets to NI in a day or two and CRC refund the same day
