So I'm swapping over to 12 speed on my mtb. What's the correct chain length method? Is it wrap around largest cog and chain ring plus 4 links or some think different.

Front ring + biggest rear cog missing out the mech + 2 links has worked for me for the past 5 years on 12 speed

SRAM and Shimano are different, it's 5 or 6 I think for Shimano on full sus, you haven't really specified anything, there's info out there with a quick Google.

Did mine yesterday. Hardtail, 1x. 2 full links (or 4 individual as in the chart above). Sram Eagle.

Thanks for the feed back. It's for a full suspension. So I'll start with 6 and cycle the suspension and work backwards from that.
