Hi,
My carbon frame Giant Trance finally took a first bash to its cross bar on Sunday. It is a fairly small mark, about a millimetre by five millimetres, roughly on top, and looks like it just went through the paint but can't be sure.
I remember the bike originally came with some stickers that I think were to put over bashes - can't remember where they are but can probably dig them out, is that all I need to do?
Cheers.

I personally wouldn't cover it with anything. Keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't grow but it should be fine!

If I worried about all the 5mm chips on my scott spark I'd never ride it! 😯

The stickers were probably to prevent cable rub, does the area seem to have gone soft at all when given a bit of pressure with your finger?

get some pictures up if you can...

t's probably fine, but as above, don't cover it up.

Get some pink zap super glue and wick it in to stabilise any loose fibres.

Araldite Rapid? I think it's quite similar to the epoxy used in CF.
