Rob Hayles - yes, that Rob Hayles - re-carb@outlook.com

Sorted out my cross frame when the head-tube started to crack after a shedload of rocky Peak District abuse.

Rob Hayles. Repaired my road bike to perfection and still good two years later. He also has a spray booth so can match paint to perfection if you want (obviously higher cost than repair alone)

I'd recommend Phil @ Target, I used numerous Carbon repairers via work and Phils my go to.

Andy at Magnafibre just repaired the damaged drop outs on my Scott Scale carbon frame for a very reasonable price.

Just being nosy as I've nothing to repair but could people say how much these jobs they'd had done cost? I looked into it ages ago and, not knocking all the skilled work that goes into a repair, it just wasn't worth it other than for a very very top end frame. Hopefully things have moved on or these guys are better.

+1

I just bought a fishing rod repair kit and did it myself. Fair enough, it was a very easy section on the top tube, no nasty bits or corners.

Well there was non before I started🥵

Did the job ok for a 800 quid planet x

I've used a fishing pole kit (link) to good effect I even liked the carbon look of the finish I didn't paint it after.
