The individual fibres are stronger than steel.
However a large proportion of the finished part is Epoxy resin. Then the overall strength of the part is largely governed by the resin, the manufacturing process and how clever/sophisticated the design is.
That doesn't look like a clever or sophisticated design - so you'd better hope it's a good quality resin and manufacturing process.
my point exactly JAG. I'd love to see it tested for strength tho, cos that's really light if it were proven to be strong enough. looks a bit "to good to be true" at the moment, however those graphics look the part IMO.
