Bought myself a large carbon 456 at the start of the year, and I love it. Love my little Ibiza as well, went out this morning to get a cycle rack for it to travel a little further a field. But there appears to be a problem, despite the frame being large 20" it wont fit onto either halfords high mount or thule's 968 carrier the carry bars are just a little to wide to fit into the enternal tri-angle of the frame, if that makes sense. Anyone else come across this and how did you solve it?

Take wheels off, put bike in boot, bike will love you more for it.

or Saris bones, you can adjust how wide it is.

I know it's more expense but can you fit a towbar and use a rack that fits on that? Makes life so much easier and would be a lot better for your carbon frame.

Don't put both bars inside the triangle. Put one under the downtube next to the fork.....?
