It looks like my new 100m hardtail race bike i've been building for the race won't be ready, and my only other bike is a rigid SS. I don't really mind as i actually prefer riding my SS anyway, and have adapted to the 'attack the hills and gurn' style of riding.
I'm only entering the fun category, but i would like to do ok (ie not finish last) and don't want to look like some kind of try hard trendy nich monger.
So i guess i'm kind of hoping someone else is singlespeeding it?!?!
