Had mine for about a year and a half now and it's not had any issues. Wondering if it's worth sending it off for a service pre alps trip this summer?
How often do people tend to service their cc inline coils?
Yes if used regularly.
Asking for trouble otherwise if taking it to Alps.

Depends how much you ride it.
On average once a week for 3 or 4 hours, sometimes more. Its probably technically due a service, just thinking coils need less maintenance than air shocks. Are the service intervals longer on the cane creek coils than the air shocks?
no they are the same. Only reason I got my IL coil serviced was because it was doing that knock at the start of the rebound.
