My well loved and serviced 5yr old Candy 3Ti's have died (fibe body worn out) and now's time to get a replacement.
(apart from the latest 2011 version) they now seem to make only the 2Ti and 4Ti.. no 3Ti.
But I don't get how the only difference between 2Ti and 4Ti is the Ti Spindle. - they say it's called 4Ti because "the 4 main parts are made from Ti" - but then they only list the fact that Spindle and the 2 Wings are Ti, with other bits (Spring and Kick Plates) just have TiNitride treatment.
2Ti have same 2 Ti Wings plus TiNitride treatment on spring and Kick plates.
so I'm confused... I know I think to much about stuff... but it matters to me.
anyone else?
(my confusion is since I have some spare Ti spindles, so my mind is thinking to get the 2Ti's and swap spindles... would that make them same as 4Ti?)
Buy the cheaper ones and get ti spindles from eBay, there's a chap called Wade selling them, think the company are called 'ti spindles' or something! Got some in my Egg Beaters, for $40 they're very good.
You need Candy 11's now.
Those others are old models.
They will still be available though if you hunt around.

I got a pair a couple of weeks ago - perfick. Apparently, surplus Raptor/F22 material now the Septics have cancelled part of the programme.
