The descent from Black Hambleton is a little to the south IIRC. Years since I've been there.

I ride there every now and then but tend to head over to Boltby or Silton as there's more scope offroad. You local?
Yeah I live in Northallerton as well. We normally get to Hamsterley or Dalby at the weekend.
Isnt Silton just the dh track?
There are a few other trails around Silton other than the DH but not as much as at Boltby.
The Silton/Kepwick Bank/Cleveland Way/Black Hambleton/Silton loop is good if you don't mind 3 miles or so on the road to start
