im looking at a blur frame on ebay but im not sure how old it is??

I had a 2005 that came with RP3 and no v bosses, so that's earlier.

I would guess at 2003. My wife had one the same that we bought 2nd hand in 2005, I think it was at least two years old when we bought it.

I bought my blur in 2003 with AVA shock, I seem to remember that the 5th element frames were later than that. The thing to remember is the 5th element shocks aren't produced any more, I'm not sure whether TFT can still keep them going but my other.5's ASR-SL with 5th element required regular servicing and rebuilds - now changed to RP3 which to be honest works much better. So you may need to factor in £200-300 to get a replacement shock.
