can anyone recommend any nice campsites close to the three stations above.

ideally a short ride to the lifts (but not essential), with a kids play area and not mega expensive.

thanks

Stayed at this one in venosc: http://www.champ-du-moulin.com/en/welcome.html

Was awesome (or it seemed like it after spending the previous nights camping in the field at the top of Alp D Huez)

It had alsorts of facilities including a sauna + a very cold river.

Its about a 2 minute walk from a lift to deus alps aswell.

Camping La Cascade is 2 minutes ride from the Venosc lift station and the run down from Deux Alps. There's 2 sites in lower Venosc, cant remember which is which. One more basic (and cheap) the other bigger with a cafe etc. Lovely place to stay.

Stayed at the Cascades a couple of times now. A lot cheaper than 'du moulin' as I recall. Not much in the way of facilities for Kids, but there is a municipal pool and a 'Go ape' type of place within walking distance.

2Alpes is all geared up for Kids with a pool, bouncy castles, crazy golf etc.

Mongenevre is a nice place, never been in summer though. Lifties were grumpy mind.

Champ du Moulin, without question. Facilities are quite old-fashioned, but they are complete and in perfect order. The whole place has a superb feel to it and the hosts are very friendly. There's a pool (with big slide) and a kids' play area. They also have delicious fresh bread and eggs every morning (order the day before). Their English isn't great and they will appreciate that you attempt French (as the French generally do); but they will try. Their online booking system is also very good. Absolutely first-rate campsite.
