I’ve been looking for a flat bar gravel type bike for a while now for a winter fitness bike to be used mostly on muddy lanes and fire roads. The Calibre Stitch has caught my eye as it’s cheap and possibly perfect to upgrade to meet my wish list. To know if this is possible I have a few questions.

Can I fit a 10/11 speed mtb 1 x setup to This bike? Also, if I upgrade the wheels would I have any issues with disc/caliper spacing or do all 6 bolt/centre lock configurations have the same spacing?

Thanks.

If I were you and it's what you want buy it change the tyres for some decent gravel tyres and then go ride it.

When stuff wears out swop it out for what you want. As it is it'll do what you want with the tyre change.

I have one for commuting and family cycle duties, it's superb, genuinely the best value bike I've ever bought.

Keep meaning to go 1x on it, just haven't got round to it yet.
