i really want to do the c2w but my company are not taking part in it. is there a way of me doing it at all?

You can only do it through your employer. You'll have to convince them to do it somehow if you want the benefits.

Don't bother, you'll save more and get a better spec bike by trawling the web for clearance bikes. There are still loads of 2009 bikes out there with amazing spec. 2011 bikes are lower spec for the same money. Plus, C2W are imposing a 25% final purchase fee.

No they're not. There has been a new set of recommendations from hmrc for the final purchase fee which could leave you with a bill of 25% but it's not by nay means imposed. If you continue the rental period at zero cost for longer it can still be a 5% charge.
