Not many places have stock of the Weldtite kit, which I've found OK but not brilliant.

Now used all my anchovies up and wondering if there's any better product out there - and also if I can buy just the anchovies - since I still have rest of kit.

I bought some random ones from eBay, however they are a bit fatter and require the use of teeth to persuade them through the needle. Might leave one in the tool for next time as my wife was getting bored of plugging the puncture with her finger!

Sorry - need alternative anchovies, not alternatives to anchovies.

Shoulda seen the mess when I tried to use a tin of mackerel as a trailside repair. Still got the stains on my shorts.

Just dab more glue in to hold a patch in plaice if you're floundering with flats when you're trying to get a skate on?

I hate it when I get pilchard punctures which is why I converted to tubeless.

No help here, i still like my oldfashioned ways, but a mate who uses tubeless has acquired a couple more of the insertion tools and has preloaded them with anchovies so that if he does get a trailside puncture he can do the repair straight away without pissing about trying to thread them.
